The low-income residents of Southern Dallas will soon be able to find low-interest loans for home ownership. Nexbank, a regional Dallas bank, has recently made available $50 million dollars to help fund loans for these particular residents. They also plan to pay for all title fee and offer help with closing costs up to $2,000.
Nexbank is working with Dallas Neighborhood Homes and Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity through a program called Affordable Housing Loan. Their goal is to generate at least 100 home loans that will continue for the next five years according to www.prnewswire.com. They will offer these homeowners valuable training and low-interest loans to make their dreams of owning a home a possible reality.
